Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Inspectors for a contract opportunity in Manassas, VA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
1-2 years hands-on experience inspecting, or 3-5 years hands-on experience building/assembling mechanical and electrical products
Ability to receive and hold a Secret security clearance (not required to start)
Experience with Solumina and Microsoft Office

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspectors will be responsible for reading and interpreting engineering drawings/blueprints, complex wiring diagrams, and sketches to verify manufactured hardware meets specifications. Inspect hardware according to criteria and make accept/reject decisions. Accurately complete nonconformance reports, inspection tags, and related documentation. Perform job functions involving standing, sitting, walking, light lifting, and bending. Interface with customer representatives (Navy On-Site team and/or DCMA) during product sell-off and acceptance. Serve as a member of the Product Quality Team, helping enforce process compliance to ensure conforming product delivery.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Good communication skills
IPC-610 and IPC-620 or J-STD-001 certification
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience presenting products to customers for inspection
Hands-on build experience in a production setting, collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited HSD/GED

WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, approximately 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday, approximately 5:00 PM-3:00 AM
