Job Description

Do you love planning events? Are you looking for a career in the hospitality industry? Do you love challenging yourself and have a good work ethic? Do you have long-term goals in the industry and just haven't found the right place to start? We are looking for an Assistant to our Event Director. 

Job Duties:

Assisting with Event Set Up and Tear Down

Working alongside our Banquet Captains for a successful event execution

Maintaining a record of all bookings

Supervising Club Events, Golf Outings, Pool Parties

Following up with Existing and Potential Clients

Handling Invoices and Billing for Clients

Designing Floor Plans

Social Media Marketing

Assisting with Creative Design 

Attending all meetings as a second point of contact

Job Requirements:

2 years' experience in the food and beverage/hospitality industry in an upscale environment

Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours

Must be able to carry/lift 25 pounds

Some computer skills are necessary

Liquor License

Problem Solver

Outgoing Personality

Possesses strong Communication Skills

Leadership Qualities

Attention to detail is essential

Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays
