Role Overview

The Assistant will support a Music Entertainment Manager in the day-to-day operations of managing recording artists, tours, studio sessions, and brand partnerships. The ideal candidate is passionate about the music industry, can thrive in fast paced environments, and is comfortable handling both administrative tasks and creative coordination.

[Key Responsibilities]

  • Manage calendars, travel arrangements, and daily schedules for the manager and talent.
  • Act as a liaison between the manager and labels, agents, publicists, promoters, and venues.
  • Assist in coordinating studio sessions, rehearsals, live performances, media appearances, and tour logistics.
  • Track deliverables related to contracts, publishing, marketing campaigns, and social content.
  • Draft and review communications, itineraries, pitch decks, and press materials.
  • Monitor release timelines, music distribution platforms, and promotional schedules.
  • Stay informed on trends in music, streaming platforms, and social media to support artist visibility.
  • Handle confidential information and maintain professionalism at all times.
  • Occasionally attend industry events, shows, or meetings to represent or assist the manager.

[Qualifications]

  • 1+ years of experience in the music industry, artist management, or entertainment assistant roles.
  • Deep knowledge of the music landscape – from labels and streaming to artist development and touring.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and music industry tools.
  • Discretion and professionalism when dealing with talent, business partners, and press.
  • Able and willing to travel or work evenings/weekends as needed.
