Our mission is to provide individuals and families in the Gaithersburg area with emergency assistance for food, diapers, formula, transportation and prescriptions, to the extent resources are available, and to provide them with information and/or referral to other organizations and agencies.

Gaithersburg HELP is a dedicated, all-volunteer organization that provides essential support to local communities. Many of our clients are Spanish-speaking, and we need bilingual volunteers to help them access the services they need. If you’re fluent in English and Spanish and want to help, we’d love to have you on our team!

As a volunteer, you will

• Return calls and assist Spanish-speaking clients in finding needed services.
• Work remotely from your home with your computer and an internet connection.
• Choose flexible phone hours that fit your schedule between Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 8 PM.
• Commit as little as one to five hours per week or up to ten hours, if you’d like!

Your fluency in English and Spanish can truly make a difference in someone's life.

NOTE While this is a remote volunteer opportunity, we prefer candidates who live in or near Gaithersburg, Maryland.
