We are currently accepting applications for future openings for Boiler Operators at our facility in Ashland, VA!

• Salary: $32.17/hr - $35.65/hr (based on experience and certification)
• Schedule : must be available for rotating shifts & overtime as needed

Develop your talents  by applying your expertise within our facility in Ashland, as the Boiler Operator : 

• Follow all safety rules and standard operational procedures
• Monitor and inspect equipment, alarms, safety devices, and meters to detect leaks or malfunctions and to ensure that equipment is operating efficiently and safely
• Observe and interpret readings on gauges, meters, and charts registering various aspects of boiler operation
• Analyze problems and take appropriate action to ensure continuous and reliable operation of the boiler/powerhouse
• Attend and participate in daily crew meetings

• Boiler license is ideal for position, or 3-5 years of related boiler experience - we are willing to offer the training & certification to the ideal candidate
• Manufacturing experience and boiler operation experience and consistent work history preferred
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent and 3-5 years related experience required
• Must show a commitment to an interdependent safety-first attitude
• Consistently display positive behavior that supports the organization’s goals and objectives
• Must be mechanically inclined and understand mechanical principles
• This job entails bending, walking, lifting, and climbing throughout the shift
• Ability to work independently and in a team empowerment culture
• Highly flexible with the ability to adjust to the demands of the job, produce high quality work, and can be depended on to complete assigned tasks. Must be a self-starter
• Ability to communicate well with others and able to participate in team meetings
