The Green Door in San Francisco— a legendary dispensary and one of the Bay Area’s most iconic cannabis destinations — is currently seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Budtenders to join our retail team. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity to be part of a well-established name in the industry, known for quality, community, and customer care. As a Budtender, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming environment, guiding guests through their cannabis experience, and supporting day-to-day operations — all while growing your career in a fast-paced and dynamic setting.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver top-notch customer service, offering product education and tailored recommendations
• Ensure every guest leaves satisfied and informed
• Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Accurately process transactions and handle cash using our POS system
• Stay current on cannabis products, compliance regulations, and store protocols
• Assist with inventory tasks, including restocking and periodic product counts
• Participate in ongoing training and meet all compliance requirements
• Promote related products through cross-selling
• Work 6 to 8 hour shifts, depending on scheduling needs

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of customer service or retail experience
• Flexible availability — evenings, weekends, and some holidays required
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-moving setting and handle multiple tasks
• Familiarity with cannabis products is a plus — but not required (training provided)
• Cash handling experience
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

• Starting at $19.18 - $20/hour + tips

Shifts:

• 4-hour, 6-hour, and 8-hour shifts
• Morning and evening shifts

Weekly day range :

• Open availability
• Monday to Friday
• Must be able to work weekend and holiday shifts as needed
