Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain within the packaging industry.
• Experience in inside sales in the packaging sector.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the procurement process for packaging materials, ensuring efficient, timely, and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services in line with company policies.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotes to secure optimal pricing and timing, ensuring all purchased materials comply with company standards and industry specifications.
• Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships to negotiate the best pricing and terms.
• Accurately create and process purchase orders while adhering to company policies and budget constraints.
• Coordinate and follow up with suppliers to monitor order status, expedite deliveries, and address any issues or discrepancies.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels, conducting periodic checks, and collaborating with relevant departments to ensure adequate supply.
• Ensure efficient and accurate inventory management, including regular stock counts and reconciliations.
