Summary:Our client is looking for a results-driven and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to manage budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, risk mitigation, safety compliance, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate has a solid background in civic or public works projects, with the ability to guide complex projects in the $25M $100M range to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage construction projects from planning through completion.
Oversee preconstruction activities including cost estimation, value engineering, constructability reviews, and schedule development.
Ensure clarity, coordination, and timely delivery of scope definitions.
Interpret and enforce contract documents throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, including implementation of IIPP protocols on job sites.
Manage budgets and track financial performance, ensuring compliance with contract terms.
Oversee invoice processing, payment applications, and change order management.
Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring proper insurance and compliance measures are in place.
Ensure quality control in alignment with company standards and client expectations.
Coordinate with superintendents to maintain and update project schedules.
Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and records.
Prepare and present project status reports, financial updates, and schedule progress to stakeholders.
Supervise project closeout activities, including punch list resolution, submittals, final documentation, warranties, and payments.
Foster strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Resolve conflicts efficiently and maintain project momentum through strong leadership and negotiation skills.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience managing large-scale construction projects.
Proven experience with civic or public works projects valued between $25M $100M.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Primavera P6, and BIM software.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
