General Summary Of Position
We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Engineerto join our growing AI/ML team. In this entry-level role, you will be instrumental in developing, deploying, and maintaining machine learning models and intelligent agents on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You'll have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technologies, to build robust, scalable, and impactful AI solutions that drive our business forward.
Duties And Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, and implementation of predictive machine learning models to address various business challenges.
Build and maintain robust data and ML pipelines using GCP services (e.g., Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Vertex AI Pipelines) for data ingestion, transformation, and model training.
Work with large datasets stored in GCP (e.g., BigQuery, Cloud Storage) to prepare data for model development.
Contribute to the integration and fine-tuning of generative AI models, including Google Gemini, to develop intelligent agents and enhance existing applications.
Monitor and troubleshoot deployed ML models and pipelines to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Document code, pipelines, and models for maintainability and knowledge sharing.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning, AI, and GCP technologies.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
Foundational understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering), and model evaluation.
Proficiency in Python programming, including relevant ML/data libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas, NumPy).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure), preferably GCP.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
