Dental Hygienist  

A Dental Hygienist is needed in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Salary and Benefits

• Pay range: $40/hour (entry-level) to $46/hour (25+ years of experience)
• Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday; clinic closes at noon on Fridays
• Hygienists set their own patient schedules
• Health Insurance: 70% employer-paid, plus 75% of out-of-pocket costs
• Dental and Vision Insurance: approximately $194 per year
• Paid Time Off: 3 weeks PTO in the first year, 7 paid holidays (1 floating holiday)
• CME: $500 annual allowance (no paid time)
• Retirement: 403(b) and IRA with 4% employer match, fully vested after 4 years
• Life Insurance: $100,000 policy provided
• Short-term and long-term disability: 100% employer-paid
• Relocation: $3,000 for out-of-state hires
• Student Loan Repayment: Eligible for NHSC (up to $50,000) and WI Office of Rural Health (up to $25,000)

• Malpractice Coverage: FTCA
• EMR System: Dentrix

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive dental hygiene care
• 50-minute cleanings for patients 13+, 40 minutes for ages 4 and under, 60 minutes for SNP visits
• See patients of all ages, with an even adult/pediatric split
• Work under the supervision of the Oral Health Director
• Provide education on oral health practices and care

Requirements

• Active Wisconsin Dental Hygienist license
• New graduates are welcome to apply
