Job Title: Director of Project Management

Location: Totowa, NJ

About the Role:

Englewood Lab, a leading contract manufacturer in the skincare industry, is seeking an experienced Director of Project Management to lead and support our Project Management team. This role will be instrumental in guiding cross-functional project execution, improving operational efficiency, and driving client satisfaction across multiple skincare product launches.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within a manufacturing or product development environment, with proven leadership experience and a focus on process improvement and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily leadership and mentorship to a team of Project Managers
  • Oversee all phases of skincare contract manufacturing projects, from initiation through delivery
  • Monitor and manage project timelines, deliverables, and milestones
  • Review and guide gate reviews, ensuring cross-functional alignment across R&D, Quality, and Operations
  • Maintain accurate project tracking tools and sales forecasts
  • Act as point of escalation for client issues and ensure timely resolution
  • Partner with senior leadership to align project goals with business strategy
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and operational bottlenecks
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in project execution and team performance
  • Conduct profitability reviews and product cost analyses
  • Provide regular reporting on project status, KPIs, and client satisfaction

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field
  • 5-8 years of project management experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in skincare, cosmetics, or CPG contract manufacturing preferred
  • Strong leadership, team development, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, and resource management
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements; OTC knowledge preferred
  • PMP or similar certification is a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $120,000–$150,000
