Kojin is a Michelin Guide–recommended restaurant in Coral Gables, known for its commitment to exceptional food, hospitality, and attention to detail. We’re currently seeking a Food Runner to join our front-of-house team and help deliver an elevated dining experience with precision, professionalism, and warmth.
The Role:
As a Food Runner, you will play a vital role in supporting both the kitchen and service teams by ensuring dishes are delivered promptly, correctly, and with care. You’ll be the final point of contact before a dish reaches the guest—your attention to detail and sense of urgency help shape the overall experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver food to guests efficiently and accurately, ensuring correct dish placement.
Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to maintain smooth service.
Understand menu items thoroughly to answer guest questions confidently if needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo and service areas.
Support with resetting tables and other FOH tasks as needed.
Ideal Candidate:
Energetic, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
Previous experience in a restaurant environment is a plus, but not required—we’re happy to train the right person!
