Our client is seeking a Gas & Chemical Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully with the organization's values. **Job Title: Gas & Chemical Technician** **Location: Sunnyvale, CA** **Note:** The temporary shift M - F 7:00 am - 3:30 pm for the first 2 - 3 months for new hire training. Once completed, the worker will be assigned to Shift: TBD **What's the Job?** + Handle and change-out of gas, chemical, and slurry containers safely and efficiently. + Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on gas and chemical equipment. + Utilize computer operations to support job functions and customer needs. + Ensure compliance with operating and maintenance procedures to drive a zero-incident culture. + Participate in project and sustaining operations, including training and quality management. **What's Needed?** + High School Diploma or GED equivalent. + Prior experience in maintenance or as an equipment technician is a plus. + Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication skills and proficiency with MS Office Suite. + Military training or experience with chemical and gas distribution equipment is welcomed.
