Job Summary:
Milani Cosmetics is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Global Demand Planner / Supply Chain Analyst to support the planning and execution of product demand across core and new product lines. This role is vital to the monthly S&OP process and achieving key goals such as Unit Fill Rate (UFR) and inventory efficiency. Responsibilities include forecast development, POS tracking, cross-functional collaboration, and data analysis to support supply chain performance.
Responsibilities:
Drive service levels to meet 95% Unit Fill Rate (UFR).
Develop and maintain demand forecasts for core and new product launches, supporting the Milani Stage Gate process.
Lead S&OP consensus forecasting, integrating internal and external demand inputs.
Provide data and insights for monthly Executive S&OP presentations.
Monitor POS performance for new launches; support Surge/Maintain/Purge strategies.
Track SKU distribution by account and maintain excess/obsolete inventory reports.
Own forecast accuracy metrics (MAPE, Bias) and support exception management.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Operations teams.
Support inventory reduction and SKU rationalization initiatives.
Assist with master data setup and coordinate with purchasing teams on execution.
Contribute to continuous process improvements across demand planning.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
3+ years in demand or supply planning, preferably in cosmetics, personal care, or CPG.
Experience with S&OP processes and executive-level reporting.
Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and planning KPIs.
Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, arrays); familiarity with Access and SQL.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Sage and Netstock preferred).
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with a proactive mindset and high attention to detail.
Compensation
The base salary range represents the low and high end of Milani’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to location, education, skills, experience. The annual base salary range for this role is $73,000.00 to $80,000.00
