Job Description

A leading organization is seeking a creative and self-motivated Instructional Designer to join its Learning & Development team. This role focuses on designing and delivering impactful training programs, particularly in leadership development and soft skills. The ideal candidate is a strong visual storyteller with experience in instructional design, content creation, and the ability to work independently across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modular, scalable training content aligned with business goals.
• Create engaging instructor-led and self-paced learning materials (eLearning, webinars, simulations, etc.).
• Develop soft skills training on topics such as communication, leadership, and relationship building.
• Write clear learning objectives and ensure content mastery through assessments and interactive elements.
• Use tools like Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Illustrator, and PowerPoint to produce visually compelling content.
• Ensure content quality, consistency, and alignment with branding and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and conduct regular content reviews and audits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in instructional design and training development.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and eLearning tools (Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Illustrator).
• Strong graphic and visual design skills; Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus.
• Experience developing soft skills training from scratch using reference materials.
• Ability to work independently with flexible hours across time zones.
• Instructional Design certification preferred; ATD or DDI certifications are a plus.
• Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
