Job Description

The Loan Officer is a trusted financial advocate at Montana Credit Union, responsible for guiding members through lending solutions that empower their financial futures. This role involves interviewing applicants, analyzing creditworthiness, approving or denying loans within authority, and ensuring members fully understand their financial options. The Loan Officer also assists with account services and supports other transactional needs to deliver a seamless and personalized member experience.

Minimum Qualifications (Experience/Education)

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1–2 years of experience as a loan officer or in a financial services/lending role preferred.
