Weekend Availability a Must! Pay: Train at $12-$15/hour. Once probation period is complete, based on performance, you can earn anywhere from $16-$18/hour. All instructors report directly to the gym's Directors and are responsible for teaching exceptional classes and delivering The Little Gym programs according to standards and recommendations. To teach the best classes, an Instructor must be physically fit, energetic, and enthusiastic. They must learn several different Lesson Plans and be able to implement them based on the needs of individual students and classes. An Instructor must have the ability to juggle several tasks and adapt well to change. They must relate well to children, parents, and team members. Instructors are also the front line of customer communication and service. They must be able to assist in the promotion of The Little Gym and sell the program at every opportunity. Instructor Desired Experience/Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH CHILDREN IN SOME CAPACITY!
• Background or training in any of the following is ideal:
• Gymnastics (or other related sport) performance/coaching
• Physical Education
• Child Development or Education - day cares or preschools
• Kinesiology, Anatomy or Physiology
• Sales and/or Customer Service
• Babysitting

Instructor Responsibilities: Under the direction and supervision of a Director, position responsibilities include:

• Reinforcement of the Core Values and Mission Statement of The Little Gym and thorough understanding of The Little Gym philosophy and program
• Communicate information accurately and professionally to customers
• Contribute to a fun and productive work environment
• Protect quality of The Little Gym curriculum through proper use of lesson plans and training materials
• Assure all safety guidelines are met and maintained, creating a safe environment for the Team and customers
• Work with a Director to complete Instructor training for all programs (classes, parties, events, etc.) you teach at The Little Gym, using our training resources, tools, and formats (Training videos, Lesson Plans, Skill Cards, role plays, etc.)
• Participate in evaluations and feedback sessions designed to improve your teaching ability, as scheduled and facilitated by the Program and Gym Directors
• Attend Team meetings and training sessions as scheduled by the Owner or Directors
• Maintain a safe, fun and productive class environment through the use of proper class management techniques, safety guidelines and assessing the needs of the group
• Deliver superior customer service in the lobby and at front desk as scheduled
• Convert trial class participants into members and retain them from semester to semester through the teaching of great classes, thorough communication, and asking them to enroll
• Assist in the light desk duties
• Maintain safe classroom conditions. Report any unsafe equipment or materials to the a Director. Take appropriate action to correct any problems
• Participate in cleaning and maintenance of the facility
• Complete and follow up on accident reports as necessary, and notify a Director
• Effectively resolve customer concerns or requests. Report issues that you cannot settle to a Director
• Perform opening and/or closing procedures as scheduled
• Perform other duties and special projects assigned by the Owner and Directors within given time and quality specifications
• Responsibilities are subject to change. Anything that needs to be done…do it. We work as the Team, not as the individual
