Medical Receptionist
Location: Optum West Colonial – 7242 W Colonial Dr., Orlando, FL 32818
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $19/Hour Weekly Pay
Dress Code: Scrubs
Interview Format: In-person
About the Role:
We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations at the front desk by greeting patients, answering calls, scheduling appointments, processing payments, and assisting with clerical duties.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and provide excellent customer service.
Answer and route incoming calls promptly and courteously.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
Balance daily collections and process payments.
Address routine inquiries and forward non-routine requests as appropriate.
Perform general clerical duties as assigned.
Assist with inventory and maintenance of office supplies.
What We’re Looking For:
Prior medical office experience preferred, but not required.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and clerical skills.
Professional telephone etiquette.
Ability to follow directions and work with general guidance.
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

You’ll be part of a supportive clinic team that includes 3 providers, a Center Administrator, 2 Care Coordinators, 2 Medical Assistants, a soon-to-be Care Manager, a Clinic Nurse, and a Regional Manager, with additional roles to be filled.
