Auriga Corporation currently has following vacancies in the Los Angeles area: Senior Test Engineer With IBM Tosca Experience Hybrid Work Environment Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Test Lead Engineer to support a grid modernization program. Job responsibilities include: implement solutions for test automation, test data management, and test environment driven by Tosca. The goal is to ensure Quality and Efficiency in Energy Management and Advanced Distributed Management Systems (EMS, ADMS).
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities: - Creation & Documentation of Test Strategy.
- Leading the planning and scheduling effort for all testing cycles.
- Developing Test Cases and Test Scripts from the developed requirements, and developing the test data requirements.
- Leading and managing the day-to-day test execution and defect identification/resolution process for all testing cycles.
- Developing & implementing test automation strategy based on requirements analysis and a wide understanding of application architecture, end-to-end testing solutions, etc.
- Ability to analyze complex data and draw accurate and relevant conclusions.
- Develop and maintain test automation framework; identify, design, and implement tools.
- Develop and document test plans.
- Maintain documentation for test environment.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other related field. Master’s Degree is preferred
- Experience with IBM Tosca is required.
- Experience in leading testing efforts in the utilities industry (e.g., electric, gas, water).
- 5+ years of experience working with test automation frameworks within large, complex business environments.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in software quality engineering or quality assurance.
- 5+ years of experience interfacing, collaborating, and negotiating with team members, all levels of management, different departments, and vendors to develop solutions, facilitate cooperation between different parties, and obtain stakeholder buy-in.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience: - Testing and integration experience with ADMS, EMS, T&D systems.
- Experience with GE e-Terra SCADA, GE e-Terra Source Integration and/or Modelling.
- GE e-Terra Habitat /e-Terra Platform Application testing/migration/integration/development.
