Security, Risk and Compliance Consultant

NorthWest Partners is seeking a skilled Security, Risk and Compliance Consultant to deliver strategic solutions for clients across industries. This role involves partnering with stakeholders from C-suite to operational teams to drive compliance, information security, risk management, and data privacy initiatives that deliver measurable business impact.

What YOU will do
  • Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and deliver strategic security, risk, and compliance projects

  • Develop and implement compliance frameworks, regulatory mappings, and risk management strategies

  • Design and mature cyber controls for areas like ERP, identity and access management, business continuity, and cloud environments

  • Conduct audits, risk assessments, and readiness programs for regulations such as EU-GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA, and PCI

  • Create roadmaps to advance security, compliance, and risk programs, ensuring alignment with frameworks like COSO, NIST, and ISO

  • Manage regulatory, internal, or external audits, coordinating across technical, business, compliance, and audit teams

  • Leverage GRC and cybersecurity tools to enhance reporting, monitoring, and control processes

  • Contribute to NorthWest Partners' growth through business development, hiring, and knowledge-sharing initiatives

What YOU will bring us
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, risk management, compliance, or data privacy

  • Expertise in compliance framework implementation, regulatory mapping, and audit readiness

  • Proficiency with GRC/cybersecurity tools and technologies for control design and monitoring

  • Knowledge of regulations (EU-GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA, PCI) and frameworks (COSO, NIST, ISO)

  • Experience coordinating across technical, business, and audit teams to deliver solutions

  • Strong communication and business acumen, with the ability to present to C-level stakeholders

  • Bachelor's degree preferred; U.S. work authorization required (no sponsorship available)

  • Preferred certifications: CIPP, CRCM, CRM, ARM, CISSP, CISM

Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary Range: $95,000 - $160,000 annually, based on experience

  • Comprehensive benefits available to full-time employees
