Overview:

We’re seeking a Site Reliability Engineer with strong Java skills and a background in incident management to join a high-performing team focused on stability, performance, and continuous improvement of enterprise systems. This is an on-site role for professionals who thrive in fast-paced, hands-on technical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for high-severity incidents and emergency situations, ensuring swift resolution and stakeholder communication.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and operations, to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.

  • Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend system/process improvements to reduce incident recurrence.

  • Maintain transparency through structured, periodic updates to leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with various technical teams to ensure progress and accountability across the incident lifecycle.

  • Contribute to ongoing operational support, managing and mitigating day-to-day technical issues.

Requirements

Technical Skills Required:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Java and open-source technologies.

  • Solid understanding of incident management and root cause analysis practices.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies.

  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, Enterprise Portfolio & Project Management, and R&D Engineering is a plus.

  • Site Reliability Engineering experience preferred.

  • Must be local to Fort Lauderdale, FL.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong problem-solving mindset with an ability to design reliable, scalable solutions.
