Job Description

Our Sushi Note restaurant in Sherman Oaks is now hiring for a qualified sushi chef to join our team. This position is responsible for the preparation and service of sushi menu item including daily inventory and inspection of all fish. This position is in control of all sushi making ingredients in order to ensure quality control of raw materials. Our chefs working the sushi bar line create thoughtful omakase course for our guests nightly.

The ideal candidate will have:
• Upscale e xperience in sushi preparation and excellent customer service skills. • Has previous experience as a sushi chef and omakase service. 
• Able to follow recipes and take initiative in a guest service focused environment.
• Maintains a sense of urgency attitude for the completion of responsibilities/tasks.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.
• Consistently maintaining a high degree of cleanliness and organization with appearance, throughout preparation area, and sushi bar.
• Expediting and controlling quality of dishes.
