Position: Robotics/PLC Technician (Bodyweld Chassis Tech)
JOB REF#: 43810 - 1441404
Duration: 12+ Months (On-Going Contract)
Location: ONSITE - Georgetown, KY 40324
Pay Rate: $39.00 per hour (W2 Only)


** Must be LOCAL or willing to RELOCATE at your own expense**
** This is 100% ONSITE, no remote work offered**


Seeking to hire a Chassis/Seibi Technician to inspect and confirm new or modified equipment and to prepare that equipment for manufacturing production. They will support the Body Engineering Department to provide new model processes for manufacturing facilities which meets all targets for Safety, Quality, Productive and Calls.


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• On-site robot programming and interlocking
• Offline and/or online Robot programming
• Confirm that new model equipment meets set standards and performs as intended.
• Prepare and confirm new Body weld Chassis equipment at the vendors
• Support weld machine Seibi Chassis activity at North American Manufacturing Companies from installation to start of production
• Develop equipment countermeasures during set up/trials

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years Automotive manufacturing experience.
• Strong Robotic and PLC skills
• Strong Computer skills, including: MS PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• EDUCATION: Degree in Industrial Maintenance related field

Other Requirements:

• 75% Travel is required (International - Japan, Mexico and Canada)
• Must be able to work over-time is required (working weekdays, weekends, shutdowns, holiday's or odd hours when required)

Desired Skills/Nice To Have's:

• Experience in arc welding environment.
