Overview

The Agentforce Architect serves as a strategic and technical leader responsible for shaping, implementing, and evolving the organization's Agentforce initiatives. This role drives innovation at the intersection of artificial intelligence, Salesforce technologies, and enterprise solutions-ensuring that Agentforce is securely, seamlessly, and intelligently integrated across business operations. The ideal candidate is a deeply technical strategist who can bridge the gap between architecture, engineering, and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the vision, strategy, and architecture for Agentforce adoption across Salesforce ecosystems (Service Cloud, Health Cloud, Sales Cloud, etc.).
  • Serve as a thought leader for the Technology Organization, translating the possibilities of Agentforce into actionable business capabilities.
  • Architect secure, scalable, and compliant Agentforce solutions, leveraging Salesforce's Einstein Trust Layer and industry best practices for AI governance and data protection.
  • Drive data strategy for AI, ensuring incoming data-especially from Salesforce Data Cloud-is accessible, clean, complete, and optimized for AI readiness.
  • Define integration and orchestration patterns with MuleSoft and related tools to connect Agentforce seamlessly with enterprise data and processes.
  • Serve as the technical authority on prompt engineering and LLM utilization, establishing best practices for model prompting, testing, and optimization.
  • Educate and enable both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring complex ideas-like AI-driven agents, context modeling, and trust-layer mechanics-are understood by executives, administrators, and developers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure AI and Agentforce solutions are aligned with enterprise governance, compliance, and operational goals.
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce innovations and Agentforce announcements, incorporating new features and approaches into internal architecture and delivery strategies.
  • Mentor and coach internal developers, architects, and business technologists to build internal capability around Agentforce.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Salesforce Architecture, Solution Engineering, or Development Leadership positions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud, MuleSoft, and Einstein platform technologies, including the Trust Layer.
  • Hands-on experience building, deploying, and optimizing AI Agents in Agentforce and integrating them across applications and data systems.
  • Strong knowledge of AI principles, LLM frameworks, and prompt engineering methodologies.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise data modeling, data governance, and metadata-driven architecture within Salesforce ecosystems.
  • Proven ability to define and implement security, privacy, and compliance models in complex regulated industries (healthcare experience preferred).
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to engage executive stakeholders and mentor diverse technical teams.
  • A proactive, confident, and strategic thought leader who can guide both innovation and execution across multiple disciplines.

Preferred Experience

  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or comparable architectural certification.
  • Previous experience leading AI architecture or Agentforce projects at enterprise scale.
  • Deep familiarity with Salesforce Health Cloud, and enterprise data integration use cases in healthcare or similarly regulated industries.

Role Type

  • Full-time Technology Strategy & Innovation Team
  • Reports to: VP, Technology Strategy and Architecture
  • Location: Flexible/Remote (with potential travel for collaboration and enablement sessions)

This position is ideal for a technical visionary who can lead with both hands-on expertise and strategic influence, aligning advanced AI capabilities with enterprise value creation.
